About

Approximately 1,000 species of medicinal plants from Japan and overseas are cultivated over about 12,000 ㎡. The garden has plant sections for medicinal use, Japanese-Chinese herbal medicine (wakan-yaku), folk remedies, fragrance and dye plants, and Kampo, as well as greenhouses and a woodland where Kinran and Ginran orchids can be seen. It is not normally open to the public, but public open days are held regularly.
