About

About 250 cherry trees, including Somei-yoshino and Sato-zakura, bloom from early April to late April. In May the wisteria trellis at Tsurugaike Pond is at its best, and in July the hydrangeas surrounding the pond are at their best. In the flower beds in front of the Morioka History and Culture Museum, more than one hundred kinds of flowers and plants bloom throughout the year.
