About
A sports park developed on the former site of the U.S. Army Yamato Base. Visitors can enjoy the fresh greenery, flowers, fruits and autumn leaves of 120 species of trees. The former Hitachi Aircraft Tachikawa Factory substation (a cultural property of Higashiyamato City) remains here. Main plants include konara (Quercus serrata), kunugi (Quercus acutissima), kuroganemochi (Ilex rotunda) and egonoki (Styrax japonicus).
