One of Japan's 100 Urban Parks. The 93.3 ha grounds include woodland surrounding Igashira Pond, a rose garden (290 varieties, 2,100 plants) that is at its best from mid-May to early June, and the Hanachō Yūkan, which has an alpine plant house.
