Rosa ‘Hoh-jun’

[Overview]
A hybrid tea cultivar bred by Suzuki Seizo in 1981.
The flowers are rose-colored tinged with salmon pink, semi-pointed-petaled with a high center, and full.
It tends to bloom in clusters, so the number of flowers is large.
It flowers well and has a strong fragrance.
The plant is upright, about 1.2 m tall and 0.8 m wide, compact, and can also be grown in a pot.

[History]
It was bred from the cross Granada × Kronenbourg.
It is regarded as synonymous with fragrant roses, and a perfume of the same name has also been made.

[Cultivation]
It is somewhat susceptible to powdery mildew, and its resistance to black spot is average.
In hot periods, the lower leaves tend to turn yellow and drop.
