[Cultivation]
Propagate by cuttings.
In areas without frost it is said to overwinter outdoors, but it is safer to keep it in a bright indoor place that stays at 5 °C or above in winter.
It prefers sunny, well-drained, fertile soil.
For potted plants, from spring to autumn water thoroughly when the soil surface dries, and in winter keep it on the dry side.
For plants in the ground, rainfall is sufficient.
From spring to autumn, apply slow-release fertilizer placed on the soil, or give liquid fertilizer.
Pests include aphids and spider mites.
