[Cultivation]
Propagate from seed or by division.
It suits a cool climate and prefers a sunny, well-drained, well-ventilated, fertile and slightly moist soil.
Avoid dry places and places where water stagnates.
For potted plants, water thoroughly when the soil surface dries; for plants in the ground, rainfall is sufficient unless summer brings a long sunny spell and the soil dries out.
In spring, apply a small amount of slow-release fertilizer.
There are no particular pests or diseases.
