Japanese name: フナシクルマユリ (斑無車百合)
Scientific name: Lilium medeoloides f. immaculatum

[Overview]
A perennial 30–100 cm tall.
It has a spherical bulb about 2 cm across underground.
The scales are white, not bitter, and jointed.
Simple leaves are borne in 1–3 whorl-like tiers near the middle of the stem.
The leaves are lanceolate, 5–15 cm long, with small projections on the margin.
A few small leaves are borne alternately on the upper part of the stem.
A raceme at the top of the stem bears one to several flowers facing sideways to obliquely downward.
There are 6 tepals, 3–4 cm long and reddish orange; unlike Kuruma-yuri, they have no spots on the inner surface.
The tips of the tepals are strongly recurved.
The pollen is reddish brown.
The fruit is an obovate capsule about 2 cm long.
