[Cultivation]
Propagate from seed or by cuttings.
It can overwinter outdoors in regions without frost.
In regions with frost, bring it indoors to a sunny spot in winter and keep the temperature at a minimum of about 5°C.
It prefers well-drained soil and dislikes excess moisture.
Grow it in full sun from autumn to spring, and in summer it is best moved to cool, airy partial shade.
For potted plants, water thoroughly when the soil surface dries from spring to autumn, and keep it on the dry side in winter.
For plants in the ground, rainfall is sufficient.
From spring to autumn, place a slow-release fertilizer with equal proportions of the three components, or one rich in phosphate, on the soil.
There are no particular pests or diseases.
