About 2,000 cherry trees of many varieties, including Somei-Yoshino, double-flowered cherries (yaezakura), and Beni-yamazakura, bloom here. When they are in full bloom, Mt. Kagobo, at an elevation of 224 m, is tinted pink. The trees are also lit up at night.
