Yamato Minzoku Park covers 26.6 ha and is the site of the Prefectural Folklore Museum. It has the Nara Minpaku Plum Grove, with about 140 wintersweet, red plum and white plum trees (from around January to mid-March), and an iris garden (best from late May to mid-June). It also has a garden of 15 old farmhouses, including Edo-period houses that were relocated and restored.
