About
Located at the eastern end of the Sayama Hills, the whole park is a woodland of konara oak, kunugi oak and other trees. Wild birds and insects can be seen, and the terrain and paths from the Edo period remain. At the summit stands Shogunzuka (General's Mound), associated with Nitta Yoshisada. The park has Futatsu-ike Pond, a ridge trail (about 1.9 km east to west), Korokoro Hiroba (Korokoro Plaza) and Hokkori Hiroba (Hokkori Plaza).
