Located on a highland at 500 m above sea level, halfway up Mt. Kamiyama, the park offers winter cherry blossoms (fuyuzakura), which bloom small, pale pink double-petaled flowers from late autumn to early winter, as well as autumn leaves. Illumination is held from late October to early December.
