On a hill in Hanataka-cho in the western part of the city, colorful flowers bloom throughout the year, and visitors can enjoy them together with views of the Three Mountains of Joshu (Jomo Sanzan). A Rapeseed Blossom Festival is held in spring and a Cosmos Festival in autumn.
