[Cultivation]
Propagate from seed or by cuttings.
It is sensitive to cold and is often treated as an annual, but it can overwinter outdoors in regions without frost.
In cold regions, grow it in a pot and bring it indoors to a sunny spot for winter.
It prefers a sunny site with well-drained soil, is vigorous, and is easy to grow.
From spring to autumn, water thoroughly when the soil surface dries; keep it on the dry side in winter.
Apply slow-release fertilizer during the growing season.
There are no particular pests or diseases.
