It is suited to cool regions.
It grows in sun to partial shade, and a place out of the strong midsummer sun and afternoon sun is suitable.
It is good to plant it under deciduous trees that give partial shade in summer.
It dislikes dryness, so take care not to let it dry out, and water thoroughly when the soil surface dries.
In spring and autumn, apply slow-release fertilizer placed on the soil, so that no fertilizer remains in midsummer.
Aphids can occur.
