The underside of the leaf is grayish white, with long white hairs along the veins and also stellate hairs.
There are 8–12 pairs of lateral veins, which are raised.
The petiole is 0.5–2.2 cm long.
A drooping panicle at the branch tip bears many white 5-petaled flowers.
The petals are oblong.
There are 10 stamens and 1 pistil, both longer than the corolla.
The fruit is a narrowly obovate drupe with 10 ridges, densely covered with long pale brown hairs, and a long beak-like style remains at the tip.
