Admission

General (adults) 150 yen, elementary and junior high school students 70 yen, seniors (aged 65 or over in the eligible city) 40 yen, preschool children free. Free admission days: 5/4, 5/5, third Monday of September, third Sunday of October, 12/20, 12/21, 1/2-1/4. The Tropical Ecology Garden has a separate fee.

Nearest station

From JR Wakamatsu Line Futajima Station, take a local bus and get off at "Hibikinada Ryokuchi Iriguchi", then walk 15 minutes (about 10 minutes by taxi from Futajima Station). During the autumn Rose Fair (10/17-11/15), direct buses run from Kokura Station and Orio Station on weekends and public holidays.

Standard cars 300 yen, medium and large vehicles 1,000 yen (in front of the North Gate). Permanent parking lots in the north and south, plus temporary parking lots. Entry 8:30-17:00 (gates locked after 17:30).

The largest park in Kitakyushu, themed "water, greenery, and contact with animals." It has a large lawn plaza, a Tropical Ecology Garden, a rose garden, Hibiki Animal World, and more.
