A wide-area park of approx. 78.5 ha, opened in Meiji 13 (1880). Gifu Prefecture Kodomo-no-Kuni (Children's Land) within the park has a Wild Plant Garden, a Flower Viewing Plaza and a Wild Bird Forest, and a tree specimen garden has also been developed.
