Alps Park is an urban park of about 71 hectares at an elevation of about 800 meters, making use of its richly undulating terrain with panoramic views of the Northern Alps mountain range and the Azumino area. Hana no Oka (Flower Hill) in the park is a plaza that extends from beside the stone steps to the area around the grassy hill above, where visitors can enjoy flowers in every season.
