A park often described as an observation point for the Northern Alps. It is said to have begun in Tenpo 14 (1843), at the end of the Edo period, when the domain lord planted cherry and maple trees and opened the grounds to the common people as well. Its main attraction is the view from the observation deck, and the cherry blossoms are also magnificent.
