"Oshiroyama": a three-story observation deck in the style of a castle keep stands on the site of the Ninomaru (second bailey) of Yokote Castle. Inside is a local history museum, and the deck offers panoramic views of the Yokote Basin and Mt. Chokai. Akita Shrine stands on the site of the Honmaru (main bailey).
